SAN LEONARDO
This Church was reconstructed several times and finally
rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century to the design
of Francesco Zambon. The facade dates 1931. The tabernacle
dates from 1768 and is by Giovanni Miazzi, with bas reliefs
by Giovanni Marchiori. On the high altar one finds an altar
piece by Ludovico Pozzoserrato named "St. Leonardo". The
first altar to the right has a triptych in wood by the
School of Giambattista Cima da Conegliano: "La Madonna col
Bambino tra i Santi Bartolomeo e Prosdocimo", daiting from
the beginning of the 16th century. The celling was frescoed
by G.B. Canal at the beginning of the 19th century and
represents the "Glory of St. Leonard". The church
is devoted to Santa Rita.

SANT' AGOSTINO
Built between 1750 and 1758 to the design of Father
Francesco Vecelli of the Somasco Order, it is the only
baroque church in the City. Eliptical in plan, it has rich
decorations in stucco on a green background. Internally, we
find paintings by Antonio Marinetti and Giancarlo Loth.
Ludovico Pozzoserrato's altarpiece, the "Madonna dei
Calegheri", was commissioned by Treviso's association of
shoe makers who had ther own school in the old church at the
end of the 16th century. Two frescoes from the 15th century
are located on either side of the entry.
